Hi. Welcome to my website. Since you've found your way here I guess you have an interest in bakelite products. I took up collecting them partly as a reaction to my husband's collections displayed on his website at (www.kenford.me.uk) and partly because I am fascinated by the great variety of uses found for this material in its early days. I am particularly drawn to the colourful items but unfortunately brown seems to have been the predominant colour. However, whatever the colour, if I found a product sufficiently interesting I added it to my collection. Also some of the items have been kindly given to me by people who knew of my collection.

It's possible that you may have known me as Jill Greaves and attended Duke Street School in Chorley, or Chorley Grammar School in the 1950s or Goldsmiths' College in the 1960s. If so can you spot me, or perhaps even yourself, in these photographs!
